Read this quote
from Elder Renlund’s talk:
When God directs
us to do one thing, He of has many purposes in mind. Family history and temple
work is not only for the dead but blesses the living as well.
Discuss how family
history blesses our ancestors’ lives. Next discuss how it blesses our lives. Here
are a few of the blessing we can enjoy from family history that Elder Renlund
mentioned. Refer to his talk for more:
·
Increased understanding of the
Savior and His atoning sacrifice;
·
Increased influence of the Holy
Ghost to feel strength and direction
for our own lives;
·
Increased faith, so that
conversion to the Savior becomes deep and abiding;
To close, share
your testimony of family history work.
